Leaders Without Borders -- Massachusetts PTA Leadership Award

Application may be mailed, faxed, or emailed. All applications must be postmarked or email/fax dated no later than February 1, 2008.

PTA is a nation-wide organization with opportunities to learn and become involved at many levels. Our strength is in our members. This new award recognizes those local unit PTA leaders who go above and beyond their duties to explore what PTA has to offer beyond their communities.

It's easy to begin. Review the requirements, attend events, learn, and advocate across borders. Complete the application throughout the year and, upon completion, send to Massachusetts PTA. Award recipients will be presented with a Leaders without Borders leadership pin and a Certificate of Completion to be awarded at the New England PTA Extravaganza in March 2008 (tentative date). Carol Woodbury Leadership Award

Carol Woodbury was president of Massachusetts PTA from 1999 to 2002. One of Carol's strengths was identifying, recruiting, and training new leaders. Without our leaders, past and present, we would not be able to make a difference for our children --locally, at the state level, or nationally. In honor of Carol's vision and long-term commitment to PTA, this award is given to recognize those leaders at the local unit level who have made a real difference to your PTA.
